Dr. Chief Nathaniel Ebo Nsarko, (PhD)

Dr. Chief Nathaniel Ebo Nsarko stands at the forefront of Ghana's agricultural transformation. A visionary leader whose contributions have not only shaped the present landscape but also laid the groundwork for a prosperous future. As the President of the Coffee Federation of Ghana, Dr. Nsarko's impact has been nothing short of groundbreaking. He forged a strategic partnership with the Africa and Madagascar Robusta Coffee Agency (ACRAM) to host the first-ever Coffee Business Forum in Ghana. This historic event brought together scientists, entrepreneurs, farmers, and investors from across the globe to engage in critical dialogues on the potential of coffee as a cash crop in Ghana. His efforts have set the stage for Ghana to become a key player in the global coffee market. Under his guidance, the revision of Ghana's coffee regulations was undertaken, coupled with extensive capacity-building and exchange programs for stakeholders in the coffee value chain. His leadership was instrumental in championing a comprehensive baseline survey into coffee production in Ghana, laying the foundation for future growth.

Experience

Dr. Nsarko was the sole Implementer of the Community-Based Young Women’s Farmers Guild Programme, “Improving Food Security through Shared Values” with the 2021 National Best Youth Farmer, implemented in the Western North, Eastern, Savana, and Greater Accra Regions, benefiting over Six-Hundred (600) young farmers, mostly women.

Position title

Currently, as the Executive Director of Feedico Company Limited, Dr. Nsarko continues to drive innovation and sustainability in the agricultural sector. Since its formation in 2020 and formal incorporation in 2022, Feedico has emerged as a one-stop hub for poultry and animal production farmers. Together with his wife, Mrs. Ruth Nsarko, he has created a giant hub supplying fish premix, broiler premix, and layer premix for feed production. Their efforts are geared towards enhancing the sustainability and profitability of the animal farming industry in Ghana, with a focus on decentralizing feed production and empowering women and youth through cooperative-based agribusiness initiatives.
